Annually at the OKCA April show there is a blade grinding competition. Often those of us who participate, as well as a few others, take those blades and make a finished knife for the following year’s display awards presentations. Those are presented to people displaying collections and usually there are about 12 awards given. The blade style, steel, and size, are all decided by committee within the OKCA. Everyone who participates receives the same profile blank and interprets it however they would like. This is just a gallery of completed display award knives I’ve done over the years.
